Common Ground International
Common Ground International is a non-profit organization seeking to bridge the language and culture gaps between English and Spanish speakers especially in the field of medicine. Every year they offer a medical mission and international rotation opportunity in Costa Rica. CU Denver pharmacy students recently arrived in Costa Rica for a 6-week language immersion and international rotation. They will work in local pharmacies and volunteer with local clinics, practicing their Spanish speaking skills and medical Spanish knowledge.
